I guess some kind of uniform treatment trial could put some fuel in a rocket, but it seems just as speculative as anything else, and a significant way off being a lit match for ignition. I never fully understood the earlier assertions that AJX was confirmed as THE FR solution for military uniforms. We've seen over time that fabric and uniform design are far more significant decisions that have to get through the bureaucracy first. Environmental regulation on brominated FR compounds has been swept under the carpet, and not likely to get any real media attention under this US administration - Defence has some record of actually being forward thinking and ahead of other business in initiating change in areas like this, so that might be something.
