That was a figure of speech. I'm sure there are some hard working single parents(male and female) who deserve their payment. The vast majority, in my opinion, are leeches. Hang around a Centrelink and see for yourself. The odds of only the degenerates showing up whilst you're there are slim, it's basically a real picture of the overall system.

As I've said before, this change only brings everyone into line. It's been legislation since July 2006. And unless there are extenuating circumstances, why can't they participate for their payment?

Yes, we've got two children. I'm sick of my taxes supporting bludgers and when genuine people need help the system doesn't allow it.
