If we are removing the "shield" for struggling single mothers and fathers by cutting their benefits back to $442 per fortnight from $658 why do the almost one million disability shirkers who have the ability to work 15 hours per week not have their benefits cut?

Does the Government want the next generation of Australian's to live above the poverty line or do they encourage marginalised workers to simply cave in and go the disability route?

The ALP made a clear distinction between families and work shy partially sick shirkers. Almost one million Australians now claim to be 'disabled'. That is extraordinary yet the Labor Government promotes it with their policies.

To heck with sole parents raising families and trying to hold down a job when their kids are sick or on holidays.

However, if you are an unemployment statistic we would pefer to give you a disability pension, that way our employment rates look good..........

Maybe the ALP want us to stop having children, grow our population via illegal boat arrivals, and all eventually end up on a disability handout!
