I agree with you as long as there is some assesment that allows for genuine hardship cases to be accomodated, even if only temporarily.

Welfare payments should be a two way street, not an entitlement for anyone that feels like demanding it.

The welfare system has from time to time got completely out of control. The Howard government has been working hard to get some semblance of order back into the system, but there is still quite a way to go.

John Howard and hios government seem to have incurred the wrath of hard-core welfare bludgers like chuckles in doing this.


Also, I dont think that you will get too much sense from loopydoop.

I would guess he would like as many people as can be on welfare, makes it easier for him to be lost in the crowd.
