Plough, that probably applies to 90% of the population across many industries. Australians no longer save. We survive off debt.
I just hope these single mums aren't taking cash in hand and are paying appropriate tax and taking a reduction in benefits once they commence work.
This article and the same but about "Uni students" does the rounds every twelve months. It's a beat up. It's an industry just like others. It has benefits and pitfalls. They are well compensated but no doubt it's a very personally intrusive job. But it's a choice. Maybe the hours suit. Maybe it's the dollars.
I work because I have to. I don't get pitty. I don't expect it. These women are no different. They can work elsewhere and change lifestyle to meet income.
