Like stated earlier, should never have invented the stupid "baby bonus".

The Govt. promises, and the Govt. taketh away, quite normal occurence.


The trouble is a lot of it is intentional.
Mate has three step daughters, and 1 step son, that have around 14 kids all up.
Families, or a get out of work free card?
The latter is the case.

Taking "free" money away is no different to a hard worker, investing in a house etc. and then losing their well paid job.

HAVE TO "TAKE ON" EXTRA WORK, TO MAKE UP THE SHORT FALL.

Same for a lot, (but not all), of these single mums, they can work for 3 or 4 hours a day easily.
Roughly two times a week, should cover their 'loss'.
They might even find it's a pleasant change from lounging around the house all day.
