They can still supply Synlait with a1/a2 milk under lead with pride.
It is not just the testing cost that is the restriction. To convert a herd quickly and effectively one needs to buy in A2 pure cows/calves, which run at a premium cost. Remember the premium milk price only comes once you start supplying.
