Its interesting to note that the State One analyst who wrote the outstanding research report on Mount Burgess recently is none other than Mr Roland Sidney Gotthard who has just joined the company as its geologist!

If they are going to take the company on the road to some corporate action (a second listing, higher levels of funding, strategic alliances, etc), then not only will he be invaluable as a geologist, but also as a member of the management team with an analyst's perspective and a knowledge of corporate finance.

Let's hope they bring him on the board of directors soon (as the board is very thin when it comes to executive directors!) and that they throw share options at him, we need to have someone like him seriously motivated and highly efficient. The days of tired management with limited incentive to make the company fly must go.

Bringing in and attracting skill from professionals advising the company is nothing new, Jim Hickey, the project leader in charge of the initial scoping report at Promet also joined the company, he too is worth his weight in gold.

O'Regan may be another example.
