The move into rental properties seemed a good one. Unregulated and if for retirees, income guaranteed by Federal Govt. However, the exploitation of retirees by the dominant player in this sector, Ingenia (INA) is about to see tough regulations put in place to stop the charging of excessive rents and plundering pension increases by taking 90% in rent increases. INA are about to pay a hefty price. The result will see this niche sector become a far less attractive investment.
