Sinosteel says the offer will fail because:
Sinosteel argues that there is …”inherent uncertainty in the value of Murchison shares …until the claim by Chameleon
Mining is resolved.
Murchison response:
Murchison understands that Sinosteel and its advisers have expressed negative views in private briefings about the
company’s assets and the Chameleon legal action.
Murchison’s position on this issue has been made clear on many occasions.
Murchison’s strongly held view is that the Chameleon claim, so far as it constitutes a claim for an interest in the Jack
Hills and Weld Range projects and/or Murchison’s shares in Crosslands Resources Ltd is without merit, and Murchison
is satisfied that the Chameleon claim should not result in any material value loss for Murchison shareholders.
