    From what I am hearing it won't be a quick one....early talk was that Sinochem had looked and didn't see the value to substantiate an offer at the levels Rathbone was looking for. Further SP weakness got them back to the table looking for an opportunistic buyout.

    The cynic in me thinks Rathbone went to press with the takeover talk to sure up the SP in light of what will be a very disappointing 2009 result - probably 20-25% off original guidance at circa A$165m-A$170m.

    Don't forget what happened last time with ChemChina....in no way a done deal and hence I was keen to lock in a sizeable profit today.
