Rubbish - you have not allowed for churn - go back through downsides posts on brokers figures and look at how many buys and sells happen each day by each broker to be a net buyer or a net seller on the day.
Stats published recently show up to 70% of trades on the new york stock exchange each day are churn = just the algo programs playing with each other - Try and keep it real Au76.
why didn't M & G just continue with to add to the 10m shares they bought on market why would they spend $32m at $4 buying 8m shares in the January placement if its so easy to buy them cheaper on market ?
