Worse thing he ever did sacking those workers for my business anyway. For years we could expect a surge in private generator installation, changeover switch etc at power strike time.
3 or 4 a week, couple of hours to install each and you could keep a man busy for day and a bit a week. One year then they were particularly long you couldn’t buy a generator in Queensland or New South Wales every one had been bought. Damn scary driving home from work without Traffic lights or street lights though.
