You could be right and it would be nice to just drill them now.
In their announcements they say the reason for doing an air core programme is to test targets along 8km strike under the paleo channel that didn't show up with the VTEM survey. So while they are at it they are going to also do the air core on the 3 VTEM anomalies.
So you may be right but there seems to be reasons for doing air core IMHO, but I am no geologist....
