The me too syndrome, who knows. Maybe they thought if they get security over their loan, it would leave less security over the unsecured assets.
Like I said earlier,
The Commonwealth Bank has had no problem taking fees for the Millions and Millions of trades in Centro and CER over the last 4 1/2 months.
Many traders have an account with Comm Sec who have benefited very well out of all of this, I also have an account with Etrade and I don't mind my fingers doing the WALKING.
