I also found this out about Blackwater on google. Tasman Mining which is now known as Federation Gold announced on the 18th of July 2018 that they acquired Blackwater from Oceana Gold.

By December 2018, 5 months later, they received their mining permit.

12 months later they received conditional approval to receive $15million from the NZ Government to commence mining twin declines.

So Siren Gold, could in effect, receive a mining permit within only 5 months for Alexander River and/or Big River given the efficient mining application process in NZ.
