I think the VR-1 hole is very important to drill first, prior to Sirius / Spica, as this hole will further test the coarse blocky lower units that returned fantastic flow rates from earlier drilling. If successful then this will add resources to the core SNE area and have a positive impact on ROI and NPV. The lower Aptian carbonates are a bonus target whilst rig is on site.
As for Sirius/Spica I also agree that it is a very good exploration hole to test as will add significantly to 2C. I particularly liked the comments:-
- S460 was previously untested sand unit and showed good reservoir properties and deliverability in SNE-5 and
- Map at this level shows confidence in Sirius and Spica prospects has increased due to successful tests in S460.
