No doubt all Biotech stock holders would believe that part of the potential upside is the take-over potential factor. Whilst US company Cephalon made an offer for SRX which was rejected in 2003, how many meaningful aquisitions have there been in recent years? I mean for all the good science in Australia and some fairly blue chip Biotechs can someone offer an opinion on why global growth companies like RMD, COH and CSL have not been bought out by major overseas pharma. It is not generally like they have a big blocking stakeholder such as Dr. Bruce Gray with Sirtex. This question has had me stumped for a few years.
