my observation is that we have 2 economic model at work here in Australia
socialism/government handouts for the have nots, capitalism/free market for the haves
it is interesting to see the government tries to deprive the haves of their wealth and make them have nots
once a person has nothing, then he/she simply wouldn't care, vote goes to the party that provides more socialist welfare
when a person doesn't need to work because government takes care of them, all they do is dreaming and waiting to be enlightened by ideals such as climate change
