Activity Stream being in chronological order was really useful to keep up with stocks and posters ( many from a decade ago) who don't post all the time and old dead stocks that you would never look back at unless given the cue to see where the good or fraudulent directors have gone. They unlike prolific posters Hope it comes back with whatever part people were abusing removed or they get rid of the people who were I assume stalking with it. Ever wonder how some posters followed you round like a lost puppy or pursued you like a Rottweiler with instant poorly thought out comments.?
It comes back to thumbs which is a flawed system , page views and advertising but the site is a business. OMG even twitter is looking at getting rid of similar as they want to manage traffic a different way. Thumbs here are not descriptive and pretty useless and concerning that posters may be influenced by them. . You just can't tell if they are for good content, good technical content, abusing a poster and being part of the rah rah club ( about 70% my guess) and most just give false security with confirmation bias and allow traders to see what is active and make it more active so momentum trades have more confidence and volume. Yep thumbs for evil not for good and a trading tool. Thumbs are like a....hole everyone has em. Problem is posters have unlimited number of thumbs and they are non descriptive so you can't discern why they were issued.
