Phil, this is not directed at you and I know your shoulders are broad enough to carry this without taking it personally.
IMO, this is a classic case of self fulling prophesy. A number of people who have been holding for a long time allow the 'emotionality' of that hold to get to them All it takes is a known down ramper or two to trot out a story and everyone falls into line. (I wonder if he has bought back in yet?)

The sells are mostly coming from Commsec accounts and last time I looked that was where the retail holders traded. Maybe they have some help from elsewhere but I doubt they need it.
I forget the date but prelim figures for the quarter are due shortly. I suspect a few will be unhappy with how good those figures are. Of course, they could well be better again next quarter but no doubt some will see a reason to moan. The real take away will be how does it help the bank balance for AVB and it's goals moving forward.
