The problem is not so much the lathing speed as their (slow and damaging) drying method.

I understand that the original sheets we saw (from the first lathe) were all hand pressed. Walkamin uses a drying oven in a semi- automatic process. The prospectus method of press rolling and microwave drying is nowhere to be seen.

And yes, their lathing method is very similar to plywood veneer. They get their interesting effects by ageing the material and using other processes to bring out the grain.

I have been trying to put a buy order in for 5 cents for ages with no luck at all. I think it depends on who you are. A professional trader can do it, but not us common folk. We are limited to 15 or 20% above and below current price.

There was one week about 3 months ago that I got a 5 cent buy order on (someone even put one at .001!) My buy has long since dropped off the board.

Why don't you just buy 'at market'?
