    Hi Captain Allcock,

    My comments on the original lathe, including speed, is based on information from the 2005 PPY prospectus.

    My understanding is that the original lathe was not automated.

    Yes, the probem is the drying process. Both wrinkling and cracking. If you look at their presentation material for the 2010 AGM, you will see much wasted material on the ground.

    If the material can be easily pressed flat, that is good news. That leaves the problem of cracking.

    In regards to the current machine, my information comes from the Landline video, PPY documents and questions answered at AGMs.

    I personally think the lack of performance of the current machine is the reason for the lack of overseas licences. I cannot see how a prospective client would see the PPY manufacturing process as 'proven' - four tea chests of product in four months of operation is not a good look, in my eyes.
