This morning (Wednesday) I received an email from Peter to tell me that a site visit was OK. I responded to say that I would be there. But this afternoon I received an angry phone call from Peter as he had read my previous post on HC and didn't like being referred to as "cagey".
The nature of the call told me enough about the culture of the company that makes a visit unnecessary. I declined his invitation during the phone call.
As I explained to Peter, it is no good shooting the messenger. I always call it as I see it but his version of our communications bore a different shape to that which I experienced.
Peter, you can't win an argument with angry shareholders or prospective shareholders. Consider my post as a gift, not an attack. Learn and listen from what you are hearing. The only way you make a positive impact on the discussion is to manage the company in such a way that the share price has a $ sign in front of it instead of a decimal point.
To those of you who were hoping for a report from my prospective visit, I am sorry to disappoint you. But if you go to the link in my signature you will find plenty of information on all kinds of companies working in the sustainable and renewable space.
