Many of these projects are just options on the Cu price. The Chinese are probably just trying to get a foot in the door for the day Dr Copper bounces back IMO.
Good luck with IAU, looks like a reasonable bet on the inevitable kick up on copper prices.
Had a look at them myself, must be a couple of years ago now, when they were sitting on a huge pile of cash. If I recall correctly, they were trading below cash backing at one stage and seemed like a pretty safe call, but I didn't buy in.
Funnily enough, I did hold them long ago, under different management, when they were known as Nu Star mining, and I got into them specifically for the Paulsens deposit. They could never quite get that mine to work and I sold out in frustration. Paulsens was then sold to a then micro-cap NST and the rest is history.
