The GFC hasn't really got going yet. 2007 was just the warning tremor.
All they've done is paper over the initial cracks. Everything has got worse, the stresses have increased, the numbers are bigger .... the next one might be the big quake, setting off a tsunami and causing a financial Fukushima - maybe that physical catastrophe will help precipitate the financial one.
