I agree with your sentiments and am bullish long-term, however the decision as to whether or not to take up the RI (at least in my case) is clearly influenced by my view on the SP in the lead up to and preceding the offer closing date, which in turn is likely be in part influenced by near-term news flow.

No point taking up 5c RI, IF, IF, your view is the on-market activity will dip below this along with potential negative sentiment if the RI is under-subscribed.

What I am querying is the perceived difference in recent company statements. Most recent being from the chairman (RI document - recruitment underway) and all previous communication from the company (4th cohort currently underway & currently in 4th (final) dosing cohort). I'm not picking apart these statements, I'm re-stating what was said.

Hopefully you see where I am coming from, as this subject (amongst others) is inevitably going to influence SP in the lead up to RI close and therefore my decision making.

I had previously done as you suggested and emailed the company seeking clarification - however no response to date.
