Well as I mentioned when they announced the RI it was a bold move. I am assuming the company or their advisers are not stupid. They must have know that a 1 for 2 rights issue is a close to the bone ratio. so a retreat to near the offer price, in light of news, was certainly on the cards.
So in sticking with my theory, I was wondering if ONYX moved to head off others the exposure at the ASH may attract.
ONYX will be presenting at the ASH and to mention its association with a minnow Australian company would be outstanding for PAB.
I beleive there is more news coming, if not the risk is great that the RI will flop, and management, or their advisers, will look a little silly, in my eyes at least.
