Equivalent gold contained 2.7 million ounces?
2.7m x $850 $2.29 billion
Peter Rea mentioned that its likely to be
3m ounces in the next month or so.
$2.5 billion resource
Assume mine cost $150 million which is peanuts in the scope of things. Road and electricity nearby.
Assume cash cost per ounce will be open cut they talk about it being low cost but lets assume the worse case scenario of $350.00 per ounce to include the mine cost.
3m x $500.00
1.5 billion profit
271 million shares on issue
$6.00 per share value NPV?
Something you don't realize is that Goldfields have to pay 50% of the NPV to shareholders if they want a part of this mine! They cough the money up on the spot we are not waiting for 20 years so you can see this thing can go through the roof one day and we haven't even seen what they have found outside the Conquest boundaries.
Goldfields have to drill 150kms of holes just to have the right to buy 50%. What will they find, this is the only type of mine in Australia the others they found in other parts of the world had similar deposits nearby so the chances of them finding 2 or 3 deposits of similar size is not out of the question.
This could be a $20.00 stock in 12 months mark my words.
And some of you lunatics would sell for $1.20 to Goldfields. Well i will wait for the compulsory acquisition and will never sell. They realize that they cant buy the company on market as they will need to pay at least $3.00 per share. The cheapest way for them is to keep drilling and they know it.
