Well, if i was in my 70s (I'm almost, but not quite yet) and they told me I could end up dying prematurely, that might focus my mind.
Besides, I'm not talking about some kind of wholesale alienating incarceration.
There must be some creative ways that can be invoked for the elderly to still get out and about in controlled and protected circumstances.
Heck, we're spending almost $300bn over six months with the Total Onslaught approach.
Surely carving out a teeny $5bn or $10bn slither of that extraordinarily large quantum would be able to produce some kinds of creative approaches whereby the most vulnerable and their carers are protected without needing to be confined to an apartment or a room for 6 months or so?
