I don't think anyone is attacking him because he is an academic....the world needs good quality academics especially in areas of medical research, science, engineering etc etc.....but not in matters of money

as you put it in your own words

"in any case money is never an issue with most of them"

If its not an issue, and they have no interest in it...then stop giving advice to those who know and understand the system better ie those who have actually made money through businesses etc etc

its a bit like a young virgin priest trying to give a well seasoned porn star advice on how to have sex!
