I watched the episode, they spoke with one economist with an extreme doom and gloom scenario. This guy has recently been provided with alot of air time - at the end of the day each of his extreme ideas will provide conversation at the next BBQ.

In the media this week he is reported as saying that interest rates will be 0% in 2010.

60 minutes attempted to elevate his credibilty, stating that he predicted the current situation 2 years ago, however there were many others.

Time will tell, however I feel that although people would have laughed at his thoughts years ago, he has been cornered by all forms of media to prophesise a second time.

I personally think he is wrong, however the media will continue to chase radical views such as his.

Re: the topic as whole, the 60 minutes segment has been the worst so far, Kochie not far behind.

Shit is happening, no doubt, however there is no need to feed the bear, with one view.

Those who can, do! Those who cannot, teach! hey professor Keane @ UWS

    Cheers
