I guess two big unknowns that are as likely to confound analysts as anyone else are: 1) What is the value of the emerging international business? 2) What is the value of, and strength of Shells committment to partnership with AOE in Qld?
csg seems to be an area where brokers had missed the boat and struggled to read the plot in the past, why any different now?
Imho Shell,Petronas,BG and Phillips are collectively a whole lot smart than all the brokers you could fit in Wall Street. Davies is no slouch either, and his past role as head of BP Power and Gas in Asia would give him huge insight into Asia's future gas needs.
