    Check out this article about new SK-II FUTURE X store that has just popped up recently in Japan.  It reflects P&G's latest advances in personalisation and clear desire to get ahead in the personalisation space. While the article does not make reference to OBJ's personalisation technology currently undergoing trial, the following parts of the article provide some useful insights as to where P&G are taking their personalisation concept. The writer lists all of the technological progressive technologies that appear in the store that P&G has developed for the SK-II skincare range. There is clearly an evolution of development, as the sequence of innovations suggests. I could not help but have a go at listing the next most obvious thing that the store would need and is currently undergoing clinical evaluation by OBJ's partner (see my edit below):

    • "The latest SK-II FUTURE X concept store uses a series of innovative technologies. Through cutting-edge facial recognition and artificial intelligence technology, the SK-II FUTURE X concept store can conduct one-on-one dialogues and exchanges with visitors. As soon as they enter the door, the visitor feels like walking into a unique and exclusive digital art space, feeling beautiful and changing in front of the wall of art through expressions and body movements."
    • "Upon entering the store, visitors can experience the Skin Scan Station - this is the second generation of the SK-II Magic Ring. The skin scanning station is different from the normal skin scanning technology in that it does not require direct contact with the skin. Visitors only need to stand in front of the skin scanning station to complete the test."
    • "Next, the visitors will come to the Smart Beauty Walls on the second floor. The digital touch screens on the walls will automatically identify visitors and present everyone's skin analysis and customized maintenance recommendations."
    • "Then came to the Smart Beauty Counter. Visitors will use the interactive digital interface to conduct tailored SK-II maintenance advice based on the aforementioned skin detection data, and recommend the best products for skin needs, and Learn how using each product will improve your skin."
    • "In addition to the SK-II FUTURE X concept store, SK-II will also showcase the world's only youth bottle. The long-selling and youthful debut brand will be replaced with an innovative cap design that incorporates mobile application technology. The smart chip built into the bottle cap can be used to connect specially developed mobile phone apps. It can be used at the same time to remind consumers on mobile phones. Proper use of steps and dosage recommendations to help consumers use smarter youth gels, perfectly demonstrate the combination of skin care brands with future technology applications and imaginations, and bring the maintenance experience to the next level. "

The device stores, and regularly updates, the user's skin analysis data obtained from the user and  using the SK-II skin scanning technologies referred to above. There is no other device like it in the world.]
