Yes agreed there is no launch specifically to be unveiled at or associated with the Olympics.

The Eye wand is the closest thing we have to a product launch with OBJ tech, and even then we already know that starting some time in August, the RNA Eye Cream will be available all across Singapore before a wider roll out in the following months.

The main point of getting the licensing sorted on the eve of the Olympics/ASAP from SK-II's point of view is they cannot safely/legally advertise the wand until all the formalities are executed and that's where I suspect TV commercials / billboards / booth-launches / online-blogs / updating website information on product offerings will come into the equation..

So no product launch associated with Olympics (we aren't going to launch anything in Brazil first, probably ever), but the catalyst for getting this done pronto is more so to avoid missed prime-time marketing/advertising.

and yes BG would have been a perfect revolutionary product to launch/unveil during the Olympics ... couldn't have had a better catered audience that would understand the results/impact when comparing to voltaren/nurofen etc.. missed a trick here but the timing wasn't right at all
