Whilst somewhat different ' phenomenon ' , that's exactly what happened in the previous market meltdown and emergence from the GFC......In fact Automobile sales hardly blinked an eye or gave up much at all from the early 2000's through 2009. Just a shift towards from ' Brown Sunrise industries ' located in the Global North to continuing more ' Greener ' tech driven increases that had been occurring in the Global South..
So I would expect a somewhat ' dampened ' down version of this trend to continue - however with more emphasis back towards the traditional manufacturers , producers , and processors in the Global North. Mainly on account of West verses China relations and supply chains following into a ' post ' COVID-19 world.
