There are many flaws in your argument...
here's a few...
recycling unlike petrol or diesel when batteries reach the end of thier life they can be pulled apart and used again...
Battery chemistries could change as more research and development finds cheaper commodities to replace what auz has...
Hydrogen may well the battle and become the the fuel of choice or at least hold a large part of the market...
I'm sure you can think of some other!
