Just another reason why AUZ teamed up with SK (or vice versa) It appears SK are heavily involved in Smart grid technology ( battery field tech etc) having participated in South Korea Jeju Island Test bed. Having exposure to E- vehicles is one thing but having exposure to Grid storage through your off take partner is another. There are so many dimensions to this deal. For those who don't understand - E- vehicle purchases can be linked as a discretionary spend and would likely be impacted by recession. Grid storage however, is more like a Utility. In the event of a recession equities rotate more into defensive stocks such as Utilities whilst Consumer stocks that depend on discretionary spend get hammered. Risk diversification through an off take partner is a big thing for me and with SK we have it. I'm liking this BB guy more & more.
