I don't think jail time is enough, this country needs to start deporting this sort of trash, or go live with SH Young..

The brothers of a Skaf gang rapist have been jailed for a brutal attack on a Sydney cleaner, with a magistrate condemning increasing violence in the community.

Brothers Mahmoud Sanoussi, 28, Ahmed Sanoussi, 31, and another man, Armed Breaery, 31, were charged after a cleaner at a smash repairs store in Revesby, in Sydney's southwest, was bashed in September last year.

They pleaded guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company and the two brothers, who are siblings to convicted Skaf gang rapist Mohammed Sanoussi, also pleaded guilty to intimidating police.

In dramatic scenes at Bankstown Local Court on Wednesday, Magistrate Roger Clisdell handed down 18-month jail sentences to each of the men and called the unprovoked attacks "cowardly and despicable".

Ahmed Sanoussi and Armed Breaery will be eligible for parole in nine months while Mahmoud Sanoussi could be out in eight months after already spending time in jail for the offences.

"Violence in our community is prevalent," Mr Clisdell told the court.

"It couldn't be a worse time for people to come before the courts in this environment."

Partners and family members of the men began sobbing as they were taken away by court officers.

Lawyers have appealed the punishments and sought bail for Ahmed Sanoussi and Armed Breaery. Bail was denied.

The court was told the victim was hosing down a building when one of the men shouted "Hey f***wit you got a s*** job" to which he replied "Someone has to do it".

It was soon after this that they set upon the victim who they called a "smartass f***wit".

Their brother Mohammed Sanoussi had his parole revoked the day after the attack by his brothers in September.

Mohammed Sanoussi was meant to reside with his brothers after spending 13 years in jail for a series of gang rapes.

He was later given parole and ordered to stay in a halfway house.
