Agree with everyone on this post the guy is a nut case and the muslim community in sydneys west is not a true reflection of the middle eastern race at all, I have lived and worked in many of those countries , people are rich, educated and very westernised...walk around the streets of Beirut and ask why would anyone leave this place and their answer: our uneducated, our villagers and our criminals who label themselved "political refugees".
However a couple of points which have been misrepresnted n this thread:
1. even before tightning up the policy and even at the peak of our immigration intake we have had the MOST stringent and tight immigration policy in the WHOLE of the western world. 2. The double standard to Pauline applies as she was running to represent constituents within the australian parliment whereas sheike whatever his name is has no such ambitions.
