My wife had a massive cancerous mole removed from her leg a few years ago. Fingers crossed it seems to be contained and in remission after treatment. She has a regular 3 monthly appointment with the Logan Skin Clinic and it is all bulk billed.
I spent all my teen and later years on a surf board. I went and got my moles checked and had a non cancerous mole removed from my back - just to be safe. I also go regularity now but only every 6 months. It is all bulk billed and the check up gives me and my wife peace of mind.
We were both referred by our local GP.
I do not know where you live - but I am certain a similar clinic operates in your city.
Like your son I am/was a blue eyed blond fair skinned surfer. Never heard of sun tan in those days!! Used to spend 2 - 3 weeks camped on the beach on Moreton and surf all day. Only come back in time to go back to school!!!
