In response to all your posts after I suggested its too early to judge him:

• All directors should have skin in the game - whether its BHP or QXR because they have to align their interests withe the shareholders
• When they buy that stake is entirely up to them - the sooner the better IMHO but it's not a hanging offence if he gets settled into the new job first
• You, nor I, have any idea what he may have already used the $15m for - could have bought a $15m house for all we know
• & as I said - you don't own shares in QXR so your thoughts/comments/judgements are irrelevant

We haven't had an MD until now - lets give him the benefit of the doubt & re-assess the situation in 6 months time when we will be able to see:

• The share price then
• Whether or not SP has purchased any shares
• If he has added value

Then we can make judgements, with the facts - which are not often found on HC
