"Over-priced" - do you mean that the oppies are currently too expensive?
I presume that oppies holders are hoping that the share price will rise considerably. Then the oppies could be a good buy now.
ie Assume someone buys the oppies now at say 3 cents and assume the share price rapidly rises to ?30 cents. I understand they would have to pay 10 cents to convert to a full share. Profit would, I believe, be 17 cents if they sell the share.
This assumes that the share price rise occurs BEFORE 31 December.
Is this correct?
