SLAMPOIL
Citic are throwing everything they have at it
They recently got rid of the major contractor on site and hired the 3rd party subcontractors directly themselves
This was due to the project falling behind shedule
The bosses in China want this place operating
I believe they will get it running but when it becomes NPV positive is anyones guess as there has been huge cost overruns so if they were looking at 5 years that may be out to 7 now -- anybodys guess and you will never know as it will all be in house
The Chinese of late seem to be taking a different tack
They dont seem to want buy ins as such they want projects like Citics and you can bet your bottom dollar there is a hell of alot of eyes on it to see how it goes
Citic also know the size of the body of ore that is in the area and have geared up accordingly
All IMO of course
WW2 ("sigh")
