The best I can make of it follows this tack...

Pair the current notice (22 Dec 09) with the previous 604 from 5 Aug 09, and you get in the ball park sans 212,918 shares...this 200K odd could have been the previous (buy) notice to the coy (9 Dec 09) which the coy would not have had to lodge with the ASX due to less than 1% movement.

I know this method completely ignores the 604 lodged on 14 Aug 09 which sold off 13,690,331 shares (leaving a holding of 61,917,000 - 5.89%), but what can I say...stuff ups happen...completely unlikely WF bought back exactly 13,690,331 shares and WF/NDO forgot to lodge a 604!
btw, that 13,690,331 + the 212,918 mentioned above as < 1% = your unaccounted for 13,903,249 shares.

The only clarifying answer to this poser must come from NDO, if anyone cares to pose the question to them!
