There is no doubt gas is the go to energy source during transition to renewables. And if located close to reliable water sources transition to hydrogen is a no brainer. A close friend production engineer has informed me very little change to the gas turbines is needed to convert from gas to hydrogen. So build solar and wind farms to supply hydrogen store it on sight and when a peak load or supply from wind or solar is insufficient turn on the hydrogen turbines. Cheers ns
