Yes, I tend to agree but Donald did say things like "I will make America great again" which definitely appealed to the American pysche. Tony Abbott was a hard worker and had strong principles and I personally didn't mind him, but, I know people in the electorate of Warringah who said he was absolutely hated and Zali Steggal has no chance of retaining her seat if Tony Abbott stays away! It's too easy to caricature him as that entitled bronzed Aussie running around in his budgy smugglers in which the ABC did very well! Unfortunately, sometimes foibles can influence voters opinions in which ABC shows do in jest, but very effectively. I find Sky news talk shows try to give you a blunt, daggy message which tries to give a counter argument in a right wing thinking way.
