No harm done indeed, unless you're a shareholder and have just seen your company sold for less than it was worth a short while back simply because of a Government's short sighted tax grab, right??
Where do you get the assumption that even if the Chinese bought the company they would proceed with the projects and employ the 30,000 people?
Also, I don't think it said anywhere that all 30,000 workers would be skilled. Many of the jobs during construction phase are for non-skilled workers.
