Unlike gold or silver, bitcoin is readily tradeable, highly fungible and liquidable, and uses the internet for transfer.
It has a limit of 21 million bitcoins.
Tell me this isn't the new currency that people in 5 years will all be using, and if so, what are the possibilities for investors during its upsurge?
If you divide total australian dollars by total possible bitcoins, what do you get?
I don't know the total value of wealth in Australia, so I'll just say that bitcoins could easily reach 1000, 10,000 or even 100,000 AUD apiece.
