SkySafe - new anti-drone startup

Seems they can target specific drones based on the make/model. Still unsure of how their tech works, but looks like it's still just radio jamming (force to land or return to pilot, depending on the drone's software defaults).

For a new startup, seems it has got a good amount of funding.

How does a startup, that seems to have inferior solution to D13 get USD $15 million in startup AND $1.5 mil DoD contract?
